INK AND POLITICS
Not too articulate, lacks wit and sontaneity, annoyingly shy is Pol Medina Jr. With his hoarse voice and slight lisp, he's not too chatty about his opinions on issues. But what he lacks for vocally, he makes up for graphically.
In cartoons, Pol found a medium for expressing himself from common issues like politics and social controversies to sensitive ones like religion and tragic events. His work appears daily in the pages of the Philippine Daily Inquirer: His "Pugad Baboy" comic strip, Mondays to Saturdays; and his editorial cartoons, Sundays.
This book is a collection of his editorial cartoons, complete with remarks from Polgas (his alter-ego) for that "Pugad Baboy" flavor.
